The American College of Financial Services is seeking a Website Optimization Manager to join our growing digital marketing team. This role works closely with Marketing, Web Services, and Academics to optimize the website experience and deliver continuous improvements on key performance metrics such as SEO results, visitor engagement, lead volume, and conversions. This role will start as an individual contributor with the potential to expand to a leadership position. Create and update web pages within Drupal CMS, making suggestions for improvements where necessary.
Maintain and edit tags in Google Tag Manager.
Assist with web-related projects, inclusive of authoring requirements documentation, wireframing, working with developers on implementation, and executing QA process
Conduct website content audits and competitive analysis, seeking opportunities to improve CRO, UX, and SEO, and site architecture.
Understand resource capacity and manage project priorities based on marketing objectives.
Ensure all webpages and new website projects adhere to UX best practices, including ADA compliance.
Collect data using tools such as Google Analytics to develop actionable insights for web optimization.
Monitor and report on metrics such as organic traffic, conversion rate and revenue to drive insights and data-driven recommendations.
Perform competitive analyses and formulate reports that monitor shifting industry trends
Test the performance of landing pages, special promotions, content and forms.
Work closely with internal teams and SEO partners to analyze competitor sites, implement and measure keyword strategy, on-page optimizations, content creation, and link building.
Advise team of SEO implications for all new functionality and ensure SEO best practices are properly reflected across all websites.
Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
Demonstrate holistic awareness of SEO and emerging digital marketing trends and apply them to cross-departmental marketing efforts.
Skills & Requirements:
Four (4) plus years of related experience including
Knowledgeable of website best practices, emerging digital trends, and user experience
Experience editing content in Drupal or similar content management system
Experience with SEO Keyword Research tools (SEOClarity, Moz, etc.) and optimizing websites for search engines
Analytical and data-driven; with experience in Google Analytics, Google Optimize
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting scheduled deadlines
