Alzar School + Gap is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to “build leaders who positively impact the world.” We fulfill this mission through diverse programs and learning opportunities that combine academics, outdoor adventure, and cultural exchange.
We operate a semester high school for 10th–11th grade students from all backgrounds and locations within the United States, Chile, and beyond. We also offer a gap program for recent high school graduates focused on exploration and leadership development in Patagonia.
Alzar is currently seeking an energetic Admission Representative to support our admissions efforts. This is an early-career opportunity, ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working with students and traveling.
The Admission Representative plays a key role in executing and managing the inquiry, applicant, and enrollment process. As part of the admissions team, this individual will contribute to a robust recruiting season, organize and complete trips to schools around the country, support prospective students through the application process, and participate in the selection of mission-aligned cohorts.
This position includes national travel to various regions. Two employment options are available: a two-year position and a 10-month position, with the possibility of renewal for high-performing individuals.
The Admission Representative will be based at the Alzar School campus in Cascade, Idaho for at least the first year of employment. During the semesters when the school operates in Patagonia, the Representative will spend most of that time traveling as part of the recruiting season.
At Alzar School, employees motivate, inspire, and educate students both inside and outside the classroom. We are passionate professionals dedicated to helping students realize their leadership potential.
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and believe that a diverse team strengthens our community and our connection to students. We look forward to reviewing your application.
