The Chief of Staff works closely with the CEO and executive team to develop, implement, and manage strategic initiatives that drive the company's growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a highly organized business leader with a deep understanding of the tech industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects. Regarding the specific responsibilities of this position, please see the following duties:
Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan, aligning with the long-term goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize strategic initiatives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations on key decisions.
Facilitate communication and alignment across the executive team as well as the Board of Directors.
Manage the agenda, priorities, and follow-up actions for executive meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Oversee the planning and execution of critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
Implement best practices and processes for project management and strategic planning.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial projections for strategic initiatives. Includes analyzing complex financial data to produce valuable insights, support business improvement opportunities, and drive actionable recommendations
Propose new ways of creating business efficiencies, and guide investment in people, processes, and systems.
Academic Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a closely related field
Experience Requirements:
Two years (2) working as Chief of Staff, Director of Strategic or Financial Planning, Strategy and Operations Manager, or similar.
Three (3) years of experience working for a multinational firm in professional services, management consulting, or investment banking.
Three (3) years of experience working in operations/ strategy positions for high-tech start-ups
One (1) year of experience with financial due diligence such as M&A deal planning
One (1) year of experience in project management that requires multiple disciplines/departments
