Job Description The ED Technician is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. The ED Technician functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility of the ED Technician is to provide basic patient care such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning in the emergency room setting.
