The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), a nonprofit professional associatio,n is currently seeking an Education and Learning Manager to lead and manage all aspects of continuing education courses and learning activities for ACP and its ACP Education Foundation (ACPEF). In this highly visible role, you will oversee educational program development, accreditation, new educational initiatives, and team management while ensuring alignment with practitioner needs and high-quality care standards. This includes managing budgets, supporting event execution, and ensuring financial accountability. Some of the core duties you will be responsible for are as follows:
Educational Program Development and Accreditation
Direct, manage, and execute development of new and existing educational programming including in-person, virtual, and hybrid educational courses and programs.
Manage the execution of curriculum-based initiatives by overseeing the management of educational content and related products.
Oversee CE (continuing education) accreditation process for joint provider programs and any renewal accreditation
Manage speakers and content contributors to ensure compliance.
Serve as lead administrator for topic proposal and abstract submission.
Educational Tool Management
Manage and optimize the association's Learning Management System (LMS) to support member education and professional development.
Oversee and collaborate on optimization of education-related components of the AMS (association management system), ensuring accurate data tracking, seamless registration processes, and effective engagement strategies to support member learning experiences and program participation.
Program Budgeting & Financial Oversight
Develop and manage budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, invoice approval, and reconciliation with accounting department.
Partner with leadership and the fundraising team to establish fundraising priorities and goals that advance educational initiatives.
Oversee the processing and collecting of revenue from corporate partners, exhibitors, and members and ensure accurate reporting for educational programming.
Other Core Responsibilities
Coach, supervise and manage education staff.
Act as liaison for any educational committee partners.
Collaborate with other departments to promote educational programs and events.
Serve as a member of the leadership team.

What are we looking for?
You have at least five years of experience developing and implementing educational and clinical training programs. Experience and skills in planning continuing education programs across various formats and settings, background in non-profit, dental education, healthcare, medical education or professional societies. You also have experience designing "live" and enduring education; familiarity with instructional design and educational technology preferred. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience preferred, strong written/verbal communication skills, proven ability to collaborate with others, excellent organization skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and strong customer focus with an understanding of member-based organizations. A bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is additionally required. Proficiency in Microsoft 365, has managed files within a cloud-based application like SharePoint or Drop Box and have a strong understanding of various online education and meeting content delivery applications. Experience with databases (association based iMIS or other databases), and collaboration applications such as Teams or Slack.

Job Location: ACP has a hybrid work environment. During the first (90) days of your onboarding, new hires are required to come into the office at least two times per week and afterward, come into the office once a week. The office is located at 6400 Shafer Ct., Rosemont, IL 60018 and a shuttle service is available from the Blue-Line Rosemont El station. Also, there is occasional travel including the ability to work some evenings and weekends as needed. Relocation assistance for out-of-state candidates will not be provided. The candidate must reside within the Chicagoland area due to the need to come into the office.
