Job Description Responsible for overall coordination and scheduling of surgeon's time, patients, and practice.Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pmManages incoming referrals and schedules consultations. Communicate back to referring physicians.Maintains surgeon's surgery calendar and schedules patients for surgery and pre-operative testing. Coordinates patients in clinic for pre-op teaching, post-op appointments and additional appointments as required.Acts as the liaison between the patient and the surgeon both pre-operatively and post-operatively. Acts as liaison with the surgery departments and outside clinics. Initiate consults to other specialists.
