Georgetown Preparatory School seeks a Staff Accountant to handle accounts payable (AP) and payroll. This position reports to the Controller. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and preparing for audits. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent communication skills to serve as a liaison for vendors and internal staff. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP): Manage the end-to-end processing of accounts payable, including invoice entry, PO matching, and payment workflows for checks, ACH, credit cards or wires.
