DIRECTOR OF FINANCE POSITION OVERVIEW: Admiral Farragut Academy, a respected K-12 private, non-profit school located on the beautiful Saint Petersburg, FL intercostal waterway, seeks a knowledgeable and dedicated Director of Finance to lead the financial operation of the school under the guidance of the COO. This position is responsible for all aspects of the Accounting and Financial operations of the Academy, including financial planning, budgeting, cash management, record-keeping, monthly and annual closing processes, oversight of all financial and compliance audits, development of a financial and operating strategy, monitoring internal controls designed to preserve school assets, and the proactive and timely reporting of accurate financial results.
