The Miss Hall’s School Horizons Program, which recently marked its 30th year is an experiential, service-learning curriculum that empowers students to build leadership and advocacy skills, explore career interests, develop professional competencies, and engage meaningfully and responsibly with the world around them. Through weekly class-based projects, workshops, community volunteer opportunities, and internships, students cultivate vision, voice, and interpersonal efficacy.
The Director of Horizons is a civic- and equity-minded educator who designs and implements a mission-aligned program for students in grades 9-12. The Director equips students with tools to explore multiple perspectives, engage with cultural and ethical questions, and reflect on their place and duty as community members on campus and within the local communities. The Director supports students in developing cultural competencies and critical thinking, in preparation for their present and future roles within an interconnected world.

We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and our primary focus is on identifying the best candidate for the role. We encourage all applicants to interpret the job qualifications broadly and consider how their unique skills and experiences align with the position.
