New York University School of Law seeks applicants to join our dynamic clinical teaching community as a two-year clinical teaching fellow. This fellowship commences January 2026. It is designed for lawyers with at least three years of practice who are considering a career in law school teaching or other public interest law. The fellow will work with the Technology Law & Policy Clinic (https://www.law.nyu.edu/academics/clinics/technologylawandpolicy), which represents individuals and nonprofit organizations across a range of technology law and policy issues, from intellectual property and digital consumer protection to privacy, and the new Science, Health & Information Clinic (https://www.law.nyu.edu/academics/clinics/SHIC), which provides pro bono representation to patient groups, medical associations, and other organizations demanding affordable access to medicines, medical data privacy, and other forms of health justice. Both clinics undertake a diverse mixture of litigation, regulatory, counseling, and other legal work. Responsibilities include (i) supervising law students in related matters and serving as a mentor and role model to law students in the clinics; (ii) helping to design and teach clinic seminar classes; and (iii) sharing in the administrative responsibilities of the clinics.
Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team and must possess strong written and oral communication skills. Applicants should also have a commitment to working collaboratively with law students and practicing law in the public interest.
In compliance with New York City?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $110,000.
