Full Time | CAD $103,000 - $118,000 | Turtle Island North America
We strongly encourage applications from candidates who identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis Peoples of Turtle Island (Canada and the USA), Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australia, and Maori peoples of Aotearoa (New Zealand).
About the organisation
Movember is the leading global charity changing the face of men’s health. Through our ground-breaking projects in mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer, we’ve built a powerful movement of millions of supporters, advocates, and partners around the world.
Movember’s Indigenous Programs Portfolio supports the social and emotional wellbeing of Indigenous men and boys across Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and Turtle Island (Canada and the USA). We are committed to decolonising systems of health and evaluation by working in partnership with Indigenous communities to design, deliver, and evaluate programs that reflect Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing.
Our approach is grounded in cultural knowledge, Indigenous data sovereignty, and a belief in long-term systems change driven by community leadership.
About the role
Reporting to the Global Director, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL), and working closely with the Global Director of Indigenous Programs, the MEL Manager – Indigenous Programs will play a key role in overseeing the measurement, evaluation, and knowledge translation across Movember’s Indigenous Portfolio.
This role is central to the development of a new, community-owned Indigenous Implementation Science Framework and supporting its application across a growing portfolio of funded Indigenous-led initiatives.
The role will provide leadership and coordination across Movember’s Indigenous evaluation partners in each region (Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and Turtle Island), ensuring culturally grounded and context-specific approaches are applied to program design, impact measurement, and learning.
As part of the SEWB Support Team, the MEL Manager will work collaboratively to support community capacity building, design and facilitate Indigenous learning exchanges, and deliver reports that capture and elevate the impact of Indigenous-led solutions for men’s health and wellbeing.
About you
You are an Indigenous evaluation leader with experience designing and applying MEL frameworks in culturally safe and respectful ways. You bring a deep understanding of Indigenous health and wellbeing, strong stakeholder relationships, and a commitment to decolonising approaches to knowledge, data, and evidence.
You have experience working across Indigenous-led organisations or in partnership with Indigenous communities on evaluation and learning initiatives. You are confident in navigating mixed-methods approaches, co-design, and cross-cultural collaboration — and you're deeply committed to elevating community voice and leadership through your work.
Your communication style is adaptable across audiences and grounded in respectful relationships. You bring strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a flexible mindset to global and cross-regional work.
