What We Are Looking For

Reporting to the AVP, Innovation & Economic Development, the Strategic Partnerships Manager will support the university's growth in partnerships with business, nonprofits, government, and other collaborators. This position will work across the campus to facilitate new strategic opportunities to various departments with an objective of new revenue, research and development advancement, multi-organization partnerships, and other value driven relationships. Externally, the manager will work with key strategic partners and consultants to advance Baylor's mission as the leading Christian research university by building relationships, facilitating high value opportunities, and advancing Baylor's brand and perception with key stakeholders.

A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A Master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.

A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

• Serve as a relationship manager in support of university-wide corporate relations efforts
• Identify new ways to engage faculty in research or funding opportunities
• Identify and pursue new research, contracts, and other revenue generating business opportunities with outside partners
• Work with various campus partners and stakeholders to communicate strategic priorities, create high value relationships, and support execution of business opportunities
• Support the design and execution of innovation, economic development, and other research related strategies to advance Baylor's mission as a leading R1 institution
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
• Ability to comply with university policies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
