Compensation: Depends on experience
The Assistant Head of School External Affairs serves as a key member of the senior leadership team, working closely with the Head of School, Board of Trustees, staff, families, and external constituents to enhance the school’s advancement efforts. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities across development, enrollment management, marketing, and community engagement, ensuring that effective fundraising and institutional advancement initiatives support the school's mission and strategic goals.

Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field (education, nonprofit management, business administration, etc.) strongly preferred.
Minimum of five years of leadership experience in development, advancement, or school administration.
Proven track record of success in fundraising, donor relations, and strategic planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience managing teams and leading collaborative projects.
Familiarity with donor management software and fundraising technology.
Understanding of independent school culture and governance preferred.
