The John Glenn College of Public Affairs seeks to hire a semester lecturer to teach in Spring 2026.
PUBAFRS 5510 Cybersecurity Law, Policy, and Management (3) Credit Hours
Performance Objectives
Planning and organizing instruction in ways that maximize student learning. Meeting scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policy. Ensuring curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with school standards. Preparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student work in a timely manner to promote learning. Maintaining accurate records of students progress and submitting final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlines. Maintaining confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA.
Candidates must be able to perform these duties in a flexible work environment. Courses may be scheduled during mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
Additional Information:
Education and Experience
Required: Masters degree, excellent oral and written communication skills, experience teaching cybersecurity courses. Potential (demonstrated ability) to teach undergraduate or graduate students asynchronously online.
Desired Qualifications:
PhD in Public Affairs or related field or a JD; previous experience teaching a similar class online
