JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented administrative professional to join our Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) team. The ideal candidate will bring value to the team by providing professional administrative support to the Director in meeting the goals and objectives of the NLC.
Reporting to the Director, NLC, the Coordinator will interact with NRB members and other internal stakeholders to support the operations of the NLC, while managing web pages, assisting in the coordination of meetings and updating of NLC publications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates logistical needs for department related to committees, meetings, conferences, and webinars. This includes meeting request forms, registration forms, briefing books and webinar registrations.
Assists NLC Associate with meetings preparation upon request. Serves as minute taker for Commission and Executive Committee meetings and committee meetings in the absence of the NLC Associate.
Serves as web editor for NLC website. Assists in the development and maintenance of department web and Hive pages as well as obtaining statistical website data. Assists with special projects upon request.
Updates and maintains the accuracy of reference documents, policy and procedures, meeting attendance records, NLC compliance tables/charts, and meeting calendars.
Maintains electronic files, online resources, and paper documentation and disseminates educational resources. Accountable for record file maintenance and adhering to retention policies.
Provides customer service support to members on NLC administrative issues and responds to information inquiries including telephone, written, email, and online general information requests.
Prepares materials and promotional items for conference exhibitions.
Drafts basic Qualtrics surveys, disseminates surveys, coordinates returns, and oversees of deadlines.
Coordinates annual dissemination and collection of conflict of interest and confidentiality statements. Creates and coordinates certificates for NLC training attendees.
Creates and maintains Excel spreadsheets as needed. Codes invoices and prepares for signature. Manages expense reports for the department. Manages all department shipping.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in public policy, business, or communications or an equivalent amount of training and experience is required.
At least one year of administrative and project management experience in business or nonprofit associations.
Excellent oral and written communication, and technical, organizational, customer service, and problem-solving skills are required.
Detail-oriented and resourceful.
Strong sense of professionalism and ability to master necessary skills and comprehend operations of programs and projects.
Ability to work independently to resolve member issues. Flexibility in activities is imperative.
Intermediate: MS Office, internet, web-based products, survey applications.
Infrequent travel may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $45,000 - $51,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on a candidate’s relevant experience, skills, training, certifications/licenses, qualifications and geographical location.
