The purpose of this class is to provide assistance and support to intake and outreach staff in assigned department.
High School Diploma/GED required. Current CCBC student with minimum GPA 2.0 required. Students with 12 college credits completed preferred. Students pursuing degree in business, education, humanities, or social sciences pathway preferred.
Positions are located on the Catonsville & Essex campuses
Coordinate creation and distribution of marketing content that supports recruitment of students for numerous Workforce Solutions projects.
Collaborate with team members to generate new ideas and strategies to generate, distribute, and market program offerings to a wide audience.
Generate and maintain relationships with community agencies, partners, nonprofits, and other potential referral organizations to promote programming to their clients.
Implement Workforce Solution?s recruitment and enrollment process including managing marketing, corresponding with prospective students, and scheduling and managing information and assessment sessions for prospective students.
Conduct information sessions to explain programming and training options to prospective students.
Provide representation at outreach events, employment fairs, and other events to promote CCBC, Workforce Solutions programming, and the Out of School Youth (LEAP) program.
Administer the implementation of academic assessments to prospective Workforce Solutions students or as needed for other contracts.
Collect and input assessment results and other required data for prospective and enrolled students.
Ensure security of all testing materials.
Work with program staff to address the special needs of prospective learners, including individuals with disabilities.
Assist in referring prospective and enrolled students to supportive services and outside agencies as needed.
Maintain working collaborative relationships with Workforce Solutions and Out of School Youth staff, Program Coordinators, and other CCBC staff to ensure successful student outcomes.
