The Product Manager will play an important role in understanding customer needs, developing and testing proof points of value, defining the product positioning and hardened product development to market launch.

What you'll do:
Responsible for bringing new features and products to life that improve and impact the radiology space. Foster innovative experiences and value propositions for customers, end-users. Develop product vision through continuous communications with internal and external stakeholders and the Working Team
Work with key stakeholders, develop and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to create value for RSNA and its customers. Coordinate across teams and stakeholders to ensure outputs at each stage of the product lifecycle align to stakeholder vision. Communicate with stakeholders and gather feedback as needed
Own, manage and lead entire product lifecycle from vision to concept to proof-of-concept to pilot and launch at scale, including making recommendations related to product enhancements, product extensions, or discontinuing products, as appropriate. Improve the product during the different stages through data analysis and manage value realization throughout the product lifecycle. Design proofs of concept and collaborate with others to drive their execution
Have commercial responsibility around Product Launch and Product Lifecycle, including effective pricing strategies, product forecasting, promotion and positioning, in collaboration with the different departments, teams. Own the go-to-market strategy and launch activities working with marketing, sales enablement, and customer education efforts. Value proposition demonstrated in partnership with team members and related sources
Own business and financial data gathering and analysis using a Value Capture Framework, working with other team members and partners. Build business cases and pricing for new products and new features. Collaborate with finance team to generate pricing and pro forma financial projections
Make appropriate high-judgment trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch. Own use case prioritization, feature definition, market research, customer discovery and validation
Work with team, SMEs, to lead the design, execution, and analysis of market research, including surveys and focus groups. Synthesize and incorporate findings into a framework for vetting new initiatives to determine product strategy and make recommendations to leadership. Translate insights into actionable product plans. Maintain understanding of current and future customer needs, trends, and clinical/technical/competitive developments
Manage day-to-day activities of the product portfolio, including identifying, defining, and tracking KPIs of all products in the portfolio, and work cross-functionally to strategize and course correct as needed. Define success metrics, work with technical teams to measure and automate them, and collaborate with analytics teams to assess them, draw actionable conclusions from them, and adjust course or accelerate progress based on what you find
Translates user needs (VOC) into product development by managing the product backlog, make day-to-day decision for working team. Define digital product specifications. Create explicit user stories to ensure that team knows with accurate detail what they are expected to build and deliver
Lead problem solving / innovation workshops. Engage in agile events and serve as the voice of the user during agile ceremonies. Serve as the primary interface with the end user. Establish user story acceptance criteria and is responsible for final decision on scope and content at the team level. Support testing via market leading testing strategies [A/B testing] and debrief results to team, leadership
Spearhead initiatives and work closely with members of product team as well as members of the sales, marketing, design, technical, operational product delivery, finance teams. Collaborate with Education Team on Curriculum content design and development for interactive and adaptive learning. Work across these teams to ensure authoring, review and feedback process.
Deliver optimal digital learning experiences through learning platforms, working with Education and UX teams. Collaborate with other content teams and colleagues to improve communication and overall knowledge of content and product offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, open source contributors, and key vendors. Work with 3rd party solution partners to build full solutions.
What you'll need:
BS/MS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Have a passion/experience for experimenting with emerging learning modalities in the field of healthcare education. Possess subject matter expertise in healthcare education domains, ideally through experience working in higher education or in the EdTech space?
5+ years relevant work experience (3 years of continuous digital product management experience minimum needed). Minimum 2 years of professional experience with healthcare
1+ years’ experience in product ownership/management roles in edtech; in preferably B2C model
Ability to identify unmet customer needs, develop product roadmaps, and implement new strategies
Strategic thinker with the ability to align customer use cases with technological solutions and envision end-to-end experiences
Experience in managing strategic relationships and working with external partners.
Proven track record managing commercial products through the entire product lifecycle at an experienced level. Strong organizational, product management, product development and execution skills. Ability to work through ambiguity.
Business acumen, including the ability to create and track financial forecasts
Proven ability influencing stakeholders, executing product priorities, and driving results
Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with an ability to identify the most important things amongst many important things
Strong interpersonal skills including oral, written, and listening communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Solid understanding of Agile and Agile mindset for rapid product iteration and experimentation
A natural passion for the product, adept at selling through compelling narratives
Mastery in researching, gathering, drafting, and translating requirements
Ability to influence and work with a cross-disciplinary team
Ability to Design User Acceptance Testing plans, and lead that effort with the team
Ability to train internal departments (sales, implementation team, customer support) on new product launches through documentation and demonstration
Ability to assess ongoing product performance and enhancement opportunities
Ability to use strategic thinking, good judgement and problem-solving to support the RSNA mission
Competent in Excel, and PowerPoint
