The Office Assistantwill work with the staff in a team environment on various projects and share a variety of office duties. This position will respond to member inquiries, assist with membership and education programs, database entries, recruitment campaigns, social media posts and will be the first point of contact for visitors. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing workflow and work with little supervision. Must be self-motivated and trustworthy.
This candidate must be able to type and have extensive computer experience with a learning management system, Go to Webinar software, zoom, constant contact, and all Microsoft products.
Some travel is required. The position is located in Tallahassee.
OVERVIEW OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare emails, confirmations and troubleshoot any problems with registration of online training, webinars, workshops, and on-site training.
Assist the Education Director on various education courses, exhibit shows, magazine sales, and the association’s yearly educational calendar.
Assist the Membership Director and Membership Manager with development of membership and various recruitment communication pieces, planning meetings and travel, assist with scheduling zoom meetings, sponsorships and planning in person and zoom region and committee meetings and
Develop communication pieces for recruitment and retention.
Assist the CEO with various projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least a two-year degree in business or communications or five years work experience preferably with an association.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Outgoing with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects with similar deadlines.
Proficiency in computer software.
Experience working with Association database is preferred.
