Review, coordinate, and complete the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, tax payments, cash transactions, and financial reports. Perform initial review and analysis of financial statements before presenting them to the Vice President of Finance. Assist with analyzing and researching monthly financial statement inquiries from staff and management. Prepare and electronically file monthly and annual Sales Tax Returns. Serve as the primary backup for Accounts Payable and Payroll personnel. Assist in implementing and streamlining policies and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
Accounting degree from accredited university required.
Minimum of five (5) years of related professional experience.
Experience with accounting software, preferably Great Plains.
Intercompany/Multi-company experience preferred.
Must have valid Texas Drivers’ License and proof of insurance if driving on THA related business.
Must have stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to complete tasks.
Position involves work from home model, must be in the Austin metro area and readily available to come to THA Austin offices.

Computer skills in Microsoft office suite.
Detail oriented and able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills necessary for communication with outside contacts and employees.
