Integrated Pediatrician Opportunities with Southcentral Foundation.
Who we are
Southcentral Foundation is an Alaska Native-owned, nonprofit health care organization serving 70,000 Alaska Native and American Indian patients (customer owners) living in Anchorage, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, and rural Alaskan communities. Our award-winning Nuka System of Care is based on customer-owner relationships with their providers, integrated care teams, and traditional Native values.
Where we live:
Anchorage is surrounded by majestic snowcapped mountains, hundreds of miles of trails, downhill and cross-country ski areas, world-class fishing, and more. Anchorage is the largest city in Alaska with a population of approximately 300,000 people.
Alaska is known for its unique wildlife, beautiful summers (Anchorage averages 19.5 hours of sunlight daily), and breathtaking displays of the northern lights. If you enjoy the outdoors, socializing, and adventure, Alaska is the place for you!
Our Pediatric teams:
Southcentral Foundation provides high quality care for Alaska Native and American Indian children through an integrated model.
We strive for all children to have a relationship with and access to pediatric trained specialists along with the continuity of their family’s primary care provider. In this approach, the integrated pediatrician performs child visits well at specified intervals and remains available for consultation. Additionally, the integrated pediatrician and team manages a small cohort of children with chronic conditions. Along with the pediatrician, the integrated pediatric support team includes a dedicated nurse case manager, certified medical assistant, and case management support personnel for scheduling and administrative duties.
