What you'll do:
Manage organizational accreditation to provide AMA PRA Category 1 credits™ via the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Ensure compliance with the Essential Areas and Standards as adopted by the ACCME which includes annual reporting requirements and reaccreditation. Ensure program is operating within American Medical Association (AMA) policies and RSNA policies.
Develop, maintain, and execute RSNA Continuing Education policies and procedures.
Lead ACCME reaccreditation process in conjunction with Director: Education
Provide supervision and leadership for CME Office staff members.
Establish workflow priorities and provide operational oversight and direction to the CME Office staff.
Educate RSNA departments, physician participants, activity directors/planners, and key leadership about CME program compliance, credit claiming, and implementation.
Represent RSNA CME Office at state, regional, and national meetings. Develop partnerships with other accredited providers. Serve as the association CME lead subject matter expert.
Oversee and manage CME, ARRT, and CAMPEP certification process for all CME/CE activities.
Train and manage CME Office Staff to ensure compliance for all RSNA CME/CE/MOC activities.
Responsible for the maintenance of the systems used to administer CME and CE credit (CTI, CME Repository, CME Gateway, CDS, etc.).
Oversee, manage, and approve all CME compliance and documentation processes for all CME approved activities.
Responsible for the final approval of all CME applications.
Responsible for approving all mitigation strategies for CME activities.
Lead all CME compliance correspondence with volunteers and staff.
Responsible for managing and submitting the annual ACCME PARS Report
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s Degree required
High level of knowledge of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award and credit system
3 or more years of managing a team
Minimum of 4 years of experience with developing compliance policies and procedures to address ACCME requirements and the accreditation self-study process
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in and comfort with team-oriented approach to project management
Comprehensive knowledge of effective best practices and national trends in continuing medical education
Strong decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal proficiency including relationship development and management of internal and external relationships.
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including peers, direct reports, senior leadership, physician volunteers, and vendors
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, management, executives, and a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast paced and flexible environment
