Job Overview
The Assistant Director for Undergraduate Programs plays a pivotal role in supporting the Assistant Dean in providing comprehensive career development services to 1,381 undergraduate students at Georgetown University - and has an extraordinary opportunity to create career development initiatives, write proposals, and track program outcomes and statistics.
As well, the Assistant Director supervises key career programs, such as the Women in Business Program, Treks, and Fridays in the Field, and oversees the McDonough Peer Career Advisor students.

Our highly specialized team is dedicated to supporting the career aspirations of students and alumni across McDonough's academic programs - and to providing career services and support for job/internship searches.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs, the Assistant Director for Undergraduate Programs interacts with:
Associate Dean and Managing Director, McDonough Career Services
Other McDonough School of Business departments cross-functionally and at all levels
Undergraduate degree program students and alumni - Employers and company representatives
Staff from the Cawley Career Education Center - Representatives in other universities
Technical vendors
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 to 5 years of experience in project management, higher education, and/or nonprofit programs
High organization, strategic, and creative skills
Effective interpersonal communication, written communication, presentation, and teaching skills
Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate and be flexible in understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders
Interest in promoting women in the workplace, student success, and student career growth - as well as championing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) within the workplace
Familiarity with Handshake or other Career Management Software, Google Applications, social media tools, and web content management.
Willingness and availability for some domestic travel
