The Construction Suppliers Association (“CSA”), a member organization representing independent construction supply dealers across 5 southern states, seeks a qualified individual to serve as its Director of Marketing & Member Services (“Director”). This is a frontline, member-facing position responsible for membership retention, new member recruitment, member services and marketing, and overall membership engagement and satisfaction. Responsibilities
Leads CSA’s overall efforts to recruit, retain and engage its membership.
Collaborates with President and Events/Education Director to:
Develop a roadmap for sustained membership growth, setting and achieving annual retention and new membership goals.
Set goals and develop annual action plan to drive membership retention and growth;
Develop and implement a data-driven member engagement, retention, and recruitment plan;
Create programming to stimulate member engagement to sustain member retention and satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to enhance member benefits and services (such as education workshops, discount programs); and
Create, promote, and market sponsorship and advertising opportunities for events and other non-dues revenue programs.
Oversee all membership data, tracking and reporting, and member experience, including:
Accurate membership records
Maintain the membership relationship management system (NOVI)
Membership trend analysis by state
Recruitment and retention reports
Current, new, and prospective member information
Member experience and engagement from new member engagement and renewals, including onboarding process for new members
Initiate and manage strategic partnerships to drive new member recruitment (relevant trade show attendance, etc.)
Collaborate with the President and Events Director to evaluate membership dues structure, affinity programs, educational seminars, annual events, etc., and assist in the preparation of the annual budget relating to membership.
Develop and implement marketing plan for workers compensation insurance (Georgia only)
Maintain the CSA website and socials, coordinate content and produce monthly e-newsletter
Stay current on industry trends and news
Attend various CSA and industry events
Perform other duties as assigned by the President
At least five years of progressively more responsible experience in marketing, membership services or customer relations.
Demonstrated experience in growing membership/customers and strengthening member/customer retention.
Ability to work successfully in a small team environment.
Exceptional problem-solver with highly developed interpersonal, networking, and rapport building traits
Dedicated to extraordinary member services
Self-directed, motivated and goal oriented with strong attention to detail and commitment to the overall excellence of the association.
Experience and proven success working with minimal supervision, while understanding the necessity of communicating and coordinating with the team
Highly competent in the use of technology, including Excel, Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom, databases, social media.
