The area of specialization is open. However, preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach in the areas of program evaluation, nonprofit grant writing, vulnerable victimizations, child abuse, and elderly abuse.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
Primary consideration will be given to candidates with an applied research agenda, teaching experience, and expertise in the field of victim services. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department of Victim Studies undergraduate and graduate educational missions and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, as well as service. The candidate will be expected to teach substantive courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level, maintain a research agenda, mentor students, and participate in service to the department.
