As a key member of the Partner Engagement team in the Center for Career Exploration, the Associate Director of Employer Partnerships will help build and manage all employer partnerships for student recruitment. They will be responsible for organizing employer programs with a special focus on alumni and parent employers through collaboration with Partner Engagement teams. This role will focus on the development, execution, and evaluation of the overall strategy for employer partnerships/engagement including -- cultivating, supporting, and tracking employer relationships. Alongside the Director of Partner Engagement, this position will have responsibility for high level employer relationships. They will establish goals and priorities for outreach; develop and support recruiting and relationship building opportunities and services; and strengthen systems for capturing and reporting data. They will collaborate with other Center staff to incorporate employer input into student programs and services, select and develop core employer partners, create new programming to ensure impactful student-employer connections, and establish an effective communication and marketing strategy to support success and growth of all Partner Engagement programs.
Partner Engagement Team
The Partner Engagement Team will develop networks within and beyond the Brown community to provide students with access to mentoring, professional expertise, substantive experiential learning opportunities, and purposeful career pathways after Brown. In addition, this team will recruit, train, and manage an active network of hundreds of alumni & family volunteers who will serve as mentors and industry experts accessible to the Brown community through an updated BrownConnect technology platform. The team will also align employer engagement with alumni and family engagement, prioritizing recruiting relationships with employers that have active alumni or family advocates eager to hire Brown students and alumni.Â

Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience communicating and working effectively with corporate and nonprofit executives, senior leaders, students, and faculty.
