We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Live Education to join our team and lead the educational component of our live in-person dental conferences. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate individual who is dedicated to enhancing the learning experience for dental professionals.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts and committees to identify educational needs and develop live education programs and events that align with the association's goals and objectives. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in dental education to ensure program relevance and innovation. AGD’s live education conferences include lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions.
Speaker Management: Identify and recruit expert speakers and presenters in the field of dentistry. Coordinate with speakers and presenters to ensure their preparedness and success during live education sessions.
Participant Engagement: Ensure a high level of participant engagement and interaction during live education sessions. Develop and execute an organizational content strategy that includes competencies across career stages, targeted education for dental students, residents, fellows, and early career dentists.
Evaluation and Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from participants to continuously improve the educational content and delivery. Use data-driven insights to make improvements and enhancements to future educational offerings.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for the live education program and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership: Management of educational administration staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the conference planning team to ensure seamless integration of live education with other conference activities.
Staff Support: Serve as staff support to the Scientific Meetings Council, Dental Education Council and liaison to other groups as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in education management, curriculum development, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training preferred.
Four to six years related experience in association management required.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Certified Association Executive (CAE) preferred.
