The School of Humanities and Sciences (H&S) is the foundation of a liberal arts education at Stanford. The school encompasses 23 departments and 25 interdisciplinary programs. H&S is home to fundamental and applied research, where free, open, and critical inquiry is pursued across disciplines. Through our four faculty co-directors and other affiliated researchers and fellows, Stanford PACS has relationships with six schools and twelve departments at Stanford University. This allows us to leverage the intellectual assets of a diverse, world-class faculty across the University and provide a unique platform for knowledge exchange between academia, the nonprofit and for-profit community in Silicon Valley and globally.
Stanford PACS hosts the biennialPhilanthropy Innovation Summitfor high capacity donors, as well as the First Principles Forumwhich convenes founders, early employees, and investors in the technology sector interested in advancing and challenging their thinking on giving and impact. Additionally, the center hosts several public and private events throughout the year to connect students, scholars, practitioners, philanthropists, and others in the social impact sector globally.
EPLI is seeking an experienced, motivated, resourceful, and diligent candidate for the Program and Education Manager position. Under the supervision of the EPLI Director, you will be responsible for overall EPLI management and operations. In addition to core administrative functions, the role includes management and oversight of various projects involving education programs, resources, and communications, including (but not limited to): Education for Philanthropy Professionals program, international adaptations of this and other programs, development and revision of educational curricula and resources, and managing our outreach and publication efforts.You may have the opportunity to be a facilitator during workshop sessions and meetings, and will help tailor EPLI's educational offerings for constituents within the philanthropic sector. The position additionally entails coordinating EPLI's relationships with partners, funders, clients, program participants, and consultants. In collaboration with PACS's operational leadership, you will develop and oversee EPLI's budget, administer its finances, strategize its growth, market its programs, additionally ensuring the quality of content on its website to promote EPLI's outreach goals and mission.
This is a 100% FTE, two year, fixed term position. This position will be based on the Stanford campus and will be considered for telecommuting (a hybrid of working on-site and off-site), subject to operational need.

CORE DUTIES:
Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function or program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the program's goals.
Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for program or function.
Collect and analyze data; create reports; review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
Represent the program or function as the key contact and subject matter expert within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and training. May also represent the program or function to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences.
Participate in the development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. Forecast and provide recommendations that determine the budget.
Direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise staff.

Education & Experience
*Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

*Skill developing reviewing program budgets against incoming expenses
*Experience organizing events, meetings, and agendas.
*Previous experience in product, program, and/or services marketing.
*Knowledge and experience with philanthropy/social sector.
*Demonstrated ability to use project management software.
*Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
The expected pay range for this position is $64,480.00 to $120,000.00 per annum.
