Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC) is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a talented and passionate Energy Efficiency Specialist / Key Accounts Representative. As a nonprofit rural electric cooperative, we strive to provide our members dependable service, reliable electricity, and valuable information. Located in the heart of Montana’s beautiful Bitterroot Valley, we enjoy a vibrant outdoor and cultural scene throughout all four seasons. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
Provide advice and guidance to REC members on energy efficiency improvements and cost savings.
Conduct on-site residential and commercial energy audits, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
Develop and implement an electric vehicle program.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts promoting REC’s services.
Monitor and report on energy usage, savings, and the impact of programs and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to energy efficiency.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years experience in the electric utility, construction, HVAC, or building maintenance industry, with an understanding of energy efficiency practices.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including climbing, lifting, and accessing crawl spaces.
Valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record.
