Manages staff coordination between new initiatives and existing workstreams, ensuring sufficient team capacity, time, and organizational resources for all projects.Â
Oversees DS4Eâ™s project management and coordination (e.g. Notion) to coordinate team effort, project estimates, and resourcing.
Independently leads project management delivery for new initiatives, including planning, execution, and external coordination with partner organizations.Â
Plans and organizes team check-ins, strategy sessions, and project meetings to ensure planned work is moving forward, including with external partners.
Plans and organizes team retreats, conference travel, and partner meetings. Â
Identifies gaps in program progress, ensuring all team-members and projects are meeting deadlines and have adequate resources and guidance to do so.
Designs and executes recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of new staff.
In collaboration with DS4Eâ™s Director, develops program priorities and performance metrics, and assesses program impact using these criteria. Plans and conducts impact tracking for funders, and recommends project changes as appropriate to meet grant deliverables.Â
In collaboration with DS4Eâ™s Director, manages the teamâ™s budget, project budgets, and other financial planning.Â
Provides scheduling and facilitation support for advisory council meetings, including with prominent national education and industry leaders.Â
Acts as a liaison to University support functions, including Human Resources, Finance, Grants Management, and Development to ensure cohesive and timely management of grants, projects, and hiring.Â
Coordinates the successful integration of consultant tasks and tracks and reviews vendor and/or consultant deliverables.Â
Uses in-depth knowledge and experience to administer the delivery of services to program participants and/or beneficiaries such as communicating with programs sponsors and academic advising for undergraduate students.
Develops and communicates program priorities and performance standards and assesses operations using these criteria. Plans and conducts quality assurance reviews and recommends changes as appropriate.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Two to five years of work experience in project management and/or nonprofit administration.
Minimum of one year of experience leading activities in large complex projects from conception through successful conclusion.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Proficiency in project management tools and/or practices (e.g. Notion).
Utilize spreadsheet software and analyze data to interpret financial and non-financial data, produce reports, and present statistical information.
