St. Cloud Technical & Community College seeks a Customized Training Rep who desires to join a collaborative, creative and culturally diverse work environment. This position is an integral part of a dynamic team that helps link businesses, government, and nonprofits with effective, personalized training programs for their employees. This is a 3-year grant-funded position that will expand sonography expertise throughout Minnesota, with a focus on developing and delivering advanced training and continuing education for sonographers and ultrasound technicians in greater MN.
The Training & Outreach Manager – Sonography is responsible for:
Developing and delivering training in multiple formats; assessing student learning.
Managing client relationships and the operational processes necessary for contract fulfillment.
Conducting outreach to hospitals, clinics and appropriate professional associations.
Providing program development and instructor recruitment support to meet client needs.
Meeting the training goals and milestones established in the grant agreement. Assisting with grant reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Sonography.
Three full-time years (or equivalent) of paid clinical work experience as a diagnostic medical sonographer, with at least one year being within the last five years, or postsecondary teaching experience within the last five years.
National certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Interpersonal communication skills required to facilitate consultative conversations to understand customer needs and recommend customized solutions.
A high level of customer-based relationship development skills, and ability to direct and motivate in order to accomplish work goals.
Strong speaking and writing skills, superior organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently and to perform in a team environment as needed.
Ability to adhere to State, System, and College policies and procedures.
Results-oriented and client-focused.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher.
RDMS credentials in multiple specialties.
Training or teaching experience.
Knowledge of adult learning concepts and practices, and ability to develop training programs to meet identified objectives.
Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and administer multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
Process improvement and project management skills and experience.
