Valley Anesthesiology and Pain Consultants, an Envision Physician Services practice, is actively recruiting board eligible or board-certified Cardiac Anesthesiologists to join our team. Valley Anesthesia Consultants has long been recognized for providing the highest quality of peri-operative anesthesia care to the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding communities.

Practice locations include many facilities within the Banner and HonorHealth hospital systems, as well as a number of smaller hospitals and surgery centers. With Valley being divided into 11 different divisions, you have the ability to join a specific division that provides the type of practice that you are looking for and limits the number of facilities that you help cover. The primary practice location for Valley’s West Valley Division is Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, which has served the Northwest Valley for more than 25 years. The 890,000-square-foot acute-care facility is on 33 acres on the southwest corner of 55th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale, Arizona. A recently completed $290 million expansion project added a spacious and comfortable main lobby, a patient/family library, a heart and vascular center, state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 200-bed patient tower to the campus.

• Healthy PEDs – NICU is handled by the Pediatric Division

-Candidates must be ABA Board Certified or certified within 6 years of training and have completed a Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Fellowship.
-Reporting Structure: Anesthesiologists in the West Valley Division have facility level representation through OR medical directors & department chairpersons. The Valley Envision management team consists of peer-elected anesthesiologists & a regional clinical operations director. They are responsible for providing operational oversight of the division as well as representation on the Valley BOD.
- Compensation: This position delivers an excellent compensation package with a competitive base salary and after-hours and call compensation. Average total earning potential for a cardiac anesthesiologist is $568,000 per year, with the high earners making up to $715,000 per year.

The new tower includes a new Emergency department and all-private rooms. Banner Thunderbird is now a Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older. Designation as an Arizona Level I Trauma Center means Banner Thunderbird can provide total care for every aspect of injury, greatly reducing the need to transfer patients outside the area for life-saving treatment. Examples of injuries a Level I can treat include traumatic car crash injuries, gunshot victims, stab wounds and traumatic brain injuries.
