About the Role:
TERC’s IT department is offering a summer internship to a current high school or college student for the purpose of gaining practical technology-related and general office support experience in a professional setting. This is a full-time, non-exempt,temporary position funded for 12 weeks with the possibility of additional part-time work.
TERC is an all Mac environment; some familiarity with Apple hardware and software is important to the role. TERC has a hybrid work environment; the successful candidate will primarily work onsite at our offices in Cambridge, MA. They will interact with staff via a variety of remote methods as well as some in-person interaction.

Responsibilities:
Assist with hardware and digital asset audits in accordance with department policy
Perform data migrations on hardware that is being disposed
Perform basic troubleshooting
Assist with general office support tasks such as mail processing and supplies
Handling small projects as assigned
Requirements:
Some experience with macOS
High school diploma or equivalent
Organized with high attention to detail
Interest and willingness to learn new tools and technology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral English communication skills
