Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) seeks a Program Coordinator to join our Executive Education team. In this position, you will provide critical support in the delivery of our programing both in-person and online before, during, and after each program session. Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Executive Education (Exec Ed) is the premier worldwide source for executive-level leadership development focused on public service. Exec Ed operates as a department within HKS and provides 80+ programs ranging from 1 to 4 weeks in length to 4,500+ participants each year. Programs are delivered online, in-person, or a combination of both, and are offered as open enrollment via an admissions process or as custom programs focused on the needs of public service or government organizations, sponsors, or donors.
Exec Ed is a critical piece of the HKS mission to improve public policy and leadership so people can live in societies that are more safe, free, just, and sustainably prosperous. Programs are led by faculty and attract accomplished public leaders from around the world, with roles in government, nonprofit, multilateral and corporate sectors.
Position Description
As a Program Coordinator, you will maintain a high level of professionalism, teamwork, and a focus on customer service. You will develop strong working relationships with Executive Education colleagues in all units, as well as program faculty and other School departments.
The Program Coordinator will support the team with both the participant and curriculum coordination:
As a Participant Coordinator, you'll be responsible for tracking all enrollment information materials for our participants. You will be a main point of contact for our participants, answering questions prior to and during the program, assisting with technology issues during online programs and organizing events, transportation, and meals for on-site programs.
As a Curriculum Coordinator, you will prepare and distribute course materials. You will work directly with our program faculty to coordinate advance readings and handouts, post materials on the course webpage and manage the in-person or online classroom media needs. You will collaborate with both faculty chair and director on development or distribution of program schedule and other materials as necessary.
For both the participant and curriculum areas, you will assist in program close-out and reconciliation activities, including the submission of financial documentation in support of program activities described above.
We have a strong record of promoting talent at HKS Exec Ed. There is a career path for Program Coordinators, and they are reviewed for promotion after two years in the position.
Basic Qualifications
Three (3) years or more of related work experience. Note: Related work experience includes administrative support, program support, event coordination or customer service.

Additional Information
Must be flexible to work some nights and weekends when programs are in session.
Required to work in-person on campus for some programs.
When not on program, there is flexibility to work remotely up to 3 days/week.

This is a hybrid position based on our campus in Cambridge, MA. As a campus-based institution, we place a high value on the in-person experience, cross-team collaboration, and strong community building in order to create a vibrant campus for our students, faculty, staff, and research fellows. The position is required to work in-person on campus a minimum of three days per week during the academic year. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.

Salary Range:$50,122 - $78,291 Note: Starting salaries typically fall in the lower half of the salary range; however, they are ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.
