We are a nonprofit immigration law firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah that is seeking a seasoned attorney with a passion to help those less fortunate to join our firm. Ideally, this person must have at least 3 years’ experience in Immigration Law or commiserate experience in the field. We specialize in removal defense, SIJ’s asylum, VAWA’s, U-Visa’s, and family petitions.
Immigrant Legal Services presents a cooperative atmosphere with dedication to serving immigrant communities in Utah and, occasionally, other states. It was founded in 2016 with the goal of providing high-quality representation in even the most complex cases at reduced legal fees.
Responsibilities
Handle a caseload consisting of immigration assessments, USCIS filings, and EOIR matters.
Meet filing deadlines for USCIS cases as directed by the Firm.
Be able and available to perform the duties of an associate immigration attorney as necessary.
Responsible for ensuring cases within Immigration are closed as swiftly as they are able.
Track statistics and other key metrics for the Firm.

Additional Salary & Benefits Information: Salary depends on experience, but the range is between $80,000-90,000. Health care and retirement plans are available. We also cover bar dues. We offer a flexible workplace that closes its offices on Fridays, so people get a 3-day weekend every weekend.
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in any U.S. state or territory
Fluent in English and Spanish in written and spoken forms
