Summary: The Director, Public Health Systems and Planning is responsible for ASTHO's Capacity Building and Technical Assistance (CBTA) to state and territorial health agencies in the areas of public health accreditation, systems planning and improvement, and infrastructure. Responsible for leadership, policy analysis, and programmatic implementation in these areas. Provides oversight of activities and the development of resources to meet the needs of ASTHO members as they plan for and address public health priorities, collaborate across the public health system, and prepare for and maintain accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB).
