• Provide the full range of operational functions for the Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations and the Development team, including administrative support, calendar management, gift processing, database management, and reporting;
• Generate appropriate electronic and other correspondence, and lead department donor stewardship activities;
• Manage and update all databases for development activities, and generate reports for Development Officers and the entire office on a routine and ad hoc basis;
• Generate portfolio reports for Development Officers. Run routine gift reports;
• Provide support for Schar School alumni outreach and alumni and advisory board activities. Provide support for donor relations and student scholarships;
• Maintain accurate and timely records using appropriate software, and follow Mason policies and procedures. Track donations, maintain files, and provide projections, as directed and needed. Ensure Donor records are clear, complete, and accurate. Track solicitation campaign results and analyze regularly for effectiveness;
• Work with Central Advancement and GMU Foundation in gifts processing, foundation fund creation and administration, and OSP interface when necessary; and
• Under the direction of the Senior Director of Development, plan for the Schar School's participation in future School or University fundraising campaigns by managing the schedule, materials, collateral, database, and donor profiles for the campaign.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Demonstrated experience providing administrative support in an office setting;
• Advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); and
• Ability to work some evenings or weekends, depending on events and support needed.

• Experience in Development databases and reporting formats;
• Experience using Patriot Force, Orbis, Banner or IModules/Anthology software systems;
• Experience providing administrative support in an academic environment or higher education;
• Well-organized, detail oriented, and team player with outstanding multi-tasking skills;
• Demonstrated skill in effective verbal, interpersonal, and written communication; and
• Ability to anticipate issues, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt plans in a dynamic environment.
