For more than 40 years, the Indiana University Center for Survey Research has been a leading academic survey research center conducting thousands of quantitative and qualitative research projects, using surveys, interviews, focus groups, and a range of other methods. We advance knowledge and humankind by helping researchers plan for, gather, and analyze data across dozens of fields, including the behavioral and health sciences, medicine, public policy, business, and education.

Our partners include collaborators from universities, government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses. We manage studies from start to finish designing, collecting, and processing the data - or support a discrete task like reviewing a questionnaire or conducting interviews.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

• Conducts veni-puncture on study participants enrolled into Dr. Cydne Perry's Feeding Trial.
• Aliquots plasma and serum, and labels and stores samples according to the study Standard Operating Procedures.
• Practices good laboratory procedures.

EDUCATION

Required

• Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
• Associate's degree if certified in phlebotomy

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required

• 1 year of experience in phlebotomy or working as a lab technician

SKILLS

Required

• Proficient communication skills
