For more than 40 years, the Indiana University Center for Survey Research has been a leading academic survey research center conducting thousands of quantitative and qualitative research projects, using surveys, interviews, focus groups, and a range of other methods. Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
Conducts veni-puncture on study participants enrolled into Dr. Cydne Perry's Feeding Trial.
Aliquots plasma and serum, and labels and stores samples according to the study Standard Operating Procedures.
Practices good laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
Associate's degree if certified in phlebotomy
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
1 year experience in phlebotomy or working as a lab technician
SKILLS
Required
Proficient communication skills
Working Conditions / Demands
This position will be in a laboratory setting.
Work Location
Indiana University, School of Public Health
Work Hours
This position will require working Saturdays from 8AM-5PM for a short term research project lasting approximately 6 months.
