The Department of Political Science at Western Kentucky University (WKU) invites applications for a full-time, one-year faculty position for the 2023-24 academic year. The position is a one-year, non-tenure-track appointment beginning August 15, 2023. While this position is currently being filled as a temporary position with an end date, it has the potential to become a regular ongoing appointment.
We are looking for a colleague to teach graduate courses in our Master of Public Administration program and undergraduate political science courses. Candidates with an MPA and significant experience working in the public and/or nonprofit sectors are encouraged to apply. The anticipated teaching load is four courses per semester.

The Department of Political Science offers Bachelor's degrees in Political Science, International Affairs, Professional Legal Studies, Legal Studies, and Philosophy and a Master's degree in Public Administration. Job Requirements:
Ph.D. or ABD in Political Science, Public Administration, or related field at the time of appointment OR MPA with a minimum of two years professional experience in the public and/or nonprofit sectors.
