Impact member growth and overall organizational success with state and local dental societies, by fostering members' growth, delivering key services and building a community of membership stakeholders. Assist dental societies with the tools, resources, training and assistance needed to have adequate capacity to meet members' needs and increase the number of new members who join and existing members who renew their membership. Assist the Association in achieving annually set membership market share and other membership growth goals: enhance dental society membership collaboration and communication; and effectively advocate for dental society resources that respond to identified wants and needs. Develop actionable reports and field communications for key stakeholders. This position also contributes to the development of content and curriculum for training volunteers and staff in membership growth activities and association management practices.
A minimum of 5 years of management experience (working with staff and/or projects)
Experience collaborating with other organizations to define common interests and opportunities, plan and execute joint work, evaluate outcomes, and to adapt together to new insights
Previous experience leveraging action plans to facilitate work
Ability to be a high-energy self-starter with a strong sense of accountability
Demonstrated success in building inter-professional relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
A good balance of analytical and creative skills
Strong customer service and team orientation
Critical thinking skills and ability to analyze, synthesize and use metrics to support development of action plans
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
