This is a full-time, exempt position, responsible for management and support of the Society’s membership and engagement-related programs. The Membership Manager will support the Director of Membership and Engagement with membership program management, will oversee the AMS, including all third-party integrations and an extensive data analytics program. Responsibilities of this position also include member recruitment and retention planning, and continual and prompt data analysis and reporting. This position requires an organized individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once, an aptitude for a high level of program output and a keen eye for details.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum five years comprehensive nonprofit management experience, including program management and oversight. Association management experience strongly preferred.
Proficient – and with proven experience – in AMS software management, preferably iMIS.
Knowledge and experience in implementing DEI programs.
Proven superior organizational and project management skills that includes online planning tools such as Teamwork.
Ability to effectively coordinate and maintain deadlines for simultaneous projects and work at a fast paced highly productive level, needing little oversight.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a widely diverse, global professional membership audience.
Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with individuals, service providers and other organizations to achieve the society’s goals.
Education and Experience
Minimum 4-year degree (university) in hospitality, business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management or related educational field
Minimum five years membership management experience in an association environment
