The Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) is a small but growing Christian non-profit organization headquartered in Washington, DC. We are seeking to expand our capacity by adding an Admission Coordinator who is excited to use creativity, organization, energy and excellent communication skills to promote the GlobalEd off-campus studies programs of the CCCU to students and member schools. This position will report to the Senior Director of Educational Programs and serve as an integral member of the GlobalEd team.
We are a global organization made up of 40+ employees located in 4 countries (United States, United Kingdom, Jordan and Australia). This position is in our Washington, DC headquarters. We have an ambitious mission and are expanding our team. A successful candidate must be an organized, a strong communicator with students, parents and faculty, flexible, excited to travel to member campuses and have the ability to deal with and prioritize many, sometimes competing tasks.
COVID-19 and Work Note: The CCCU DC Headquarters is open 5 days a week. Staff can work up to 2 days remotely with approval of their supervisor. Candidates must be able to work effectively in both an in-person and virtual environment. CCCU employees are required to adhere and agree to follow certain guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Vaccinations are strongly encouraged (but not mandated).
Core Responsibilities:
Promote the following GlobalEd programs: American Studies Program (ASP), Middle East Studies Program (MESP), and Scholarship and Christianity in Oxford Program (SCIO).
Promote the following GlobalEd partnered programs: Contemporary Music Center (CMC), Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) and the Uganda Studies Program (USP) by sending interested students to each programs website.
Maintain an active and engaging communication plan with students, parents, faculty, and off-campus study coordinators via phone calls, texts, emails, direct mail, etc.
Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students into the programs, and provide up-to date student reports as needed
Provide admissions counseling to prospective applicants on the distinctive features, financial aid policies, and admissions process of the programs
Communicate with GlobalEd program directors to ensure admissions decisions are made within two weeks of application completion
Participate as an active member of the recruitment team in developing special programs and research projects, developing/implementing enrollment strategies, and developing/distributing promotional materials
Manage the GlobalEd social media accounts on Instragram, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and other emerging platforms.
Assist with each GlobalEd program’s social media accounts.
Maintain and update student information and program applications in Terra Dotta and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Coordinate visas, Basic Information Guides (BIGS), Travel Memos, and other pre-departure materials for distribution for the programs
Assist with the coordination of campus visit travel schedules and campus visit reporting
Attend study abroad fairs and campus visits as assigned
Assist in developing risk management materials each semester, compiling all forms and student information related to health and safety
Assist GlobalEd staff in assessing all programs, collecting and organizing data for each program.
Maintain current program folders in the common drive (semester schedules, key dates, emergency contacts, evaluations, travel, assessment reports, etc.)
Process transcript requests from past GlobalEd students
Recruit, select, and manage alumni ambassadors on key sending campuses.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Have 1-3 years of proven experience
Be detail-oriented, highly organized and flexible

Possess the ability to respond promptly and courteously to all questions, demonstrating patience and persistence to get a resolution
Be a problem solver
Be able to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality
Be a motivated, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Must be proficient and experienced in using the Microsoft Suite of products including Office, Word, Excel, OneNote, and Teams
Experience working in databases, preferred (including iMIS, Terra Dotta, Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
