Summary: The Intern, Organizational Performance and Staff Development is responsible for providing confidential administrative support and major functions of human resources including, but not limited to, preparing for recruitment needs, maintaining records and personnel files, on/offboarding assistance.
Location: Remote
Principal Functions:
- Works closely with OPSD Dept. to handle daily tasks as well as assist in accomplishing long-term projects.
- Works closely with OPSD Dept. in areas such as: recruitment, employee relations, DE&I, benefits.
- Helps prepare recruitment materials such as job postings, interview guides, and professional references
- employment applications.
- Assists in correspondence, research, and other human resource duties under the direction and supervision of a Manager of OPSD and/or OPSD team.
- Assists with the maintenance of permanent and electronic personnel records.
- Assists with day-to-day administration needs as required.
- Learns and use our on-line recruiting systems to support the Recruiting team.
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain strict confidentially
- Background in human resource experiences preferred.
- Experience or interest in working with public health preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to work with in a remote setting
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
