The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and tactical support role that will work closely with leaders and employees at all levels. Our team provides information, guidance, consultation, and facilitates the delivery of HR services. We are driven and have a strong commitment to provide an optimal employee experience. Responsibilities
As an HRBP with Fred Hutch you will be responsible for:
Strategic Consulting and Employee Experience
As a Business Partner, you will utilize your experience to support your assigned client group to align HR programs with organizational strategy. You will use your consultation skills to guide and support leaders to bring the best experience and solutions to employees. While actively identifying opportunities; proposing and implementing changes to mitigate risks.
Employee Relations
As a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, you will support the employee experience by ensuring that management understands our policies and practices. There may be times when you are supporting training, facilitating sensitive conversations, and making recommendations for an optimal employee experience.
Organizational Design
As part of our growing and evolving organization, you will partner with management to advise on change implications and people impacts of organizational programs and initiatives.
Projects
As a Business Partner, you will be called upon to support internal HR projects client initiatives.
Qualifications
- 7+ years' related HR experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in multiple disciplines of Human Resources and knowledge of relevant labor and employment law
- Experience driving action through influence without authority
- Experience in navigating and operating in ambiguous situations
- WorkDay experience preferred
- Experience in an academic, research, biotech , life sciences or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Experience with DEI initiatives
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Teams, Zoom
