Under direction from the Fred Hutch Talent Acquisition Manager, this position supports recruiting for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Conduct candidate interviews to qualify them within the position requirements and share information on our company, compensation package, position details, and expectations
Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and closing strategies for scientific, administrative, and technical positions
Source passive and active candidates for talent pipelines positions, with a focus on diversity
Maintain a focus on candidate experience throughout all phases of the recruiting process
Participate in both in-person and virtual recruiting events such as college recruiting, industry conferences, and career fairs
Capture and maintain complete documentation on candidates' qualifications and status in systems and within compliance guidelines
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and process to make recommendations for improvement
Other duties as assigned
HS diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience with candidate sourcing and full lifecycle recruiting or experience working in a laboratory setting paired with recruiting
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches
Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders (including but not limited to setting expectations, advising on process, clear communication)
Proficiency sourcing passive candidates
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills
High degree of initiative; must be able to work independently, be a self-starter and a strong team player
Experience recruiting in the Biotech/Life Science industry
Combination of agency and in-house recruiting experience
Postdoc recruiting experience
In addition to job duties at Fred Hutch, this position also requires access to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which requires COVID-19 vaccination without exceptions.
