This role is intended to help support not only our $450M campaign’s progress, but the increased need for more efficient processes and systems as our annual fundraising goals become ever-higher. Duties will include: driving the Dean’s prospect portfolio by preparing his briefings and managing the campaign; sharpening the focus on our gift table and top-priority donors; continuing to refine the pipeline through a complete review of all major gift prospects; designing a more robust and concrete system to link the annual fund team’s work into the stream of the major gift pipeline; and working closely with our directors, and the Prospect Data Manager to tie campaign projections and timing goals to pledge/gift data, as well as philanthropic trends. Leading up to the completion of the campaign, responsibilities will include preparing for campaign-close celebration activities and leading strategy sessions to create initiatives to garner continued donor excitement and engagement post-campaign.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years relevant professional level experience, including experience in interacting with important donors, and writing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a fast-paced academic or nonprofit academic environment, especially in development or public relations.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated organizational, writing, and event management skills. Proven ability to problem solve, adapt quickly, and deal with highly charged situations and individuals sensitively.
