Summary: Supports ASTHO???s technical assistance and inbound request triage model by reviewing new requests, identifying internal subject matter experts, tracking request progress, and providing administrative support to ASTHO subject matter experts.
Reviews member and partner requests for technical assistance and assists in determining appropriate ASTHO resources and support
Provides administrative assistance to various ASTHO program and cross-cutting teams to ensure new requests are effectively routed to the appropriate subject matter experts, researched as needed, and completed in a timely manner
Develops tailored responses to members and other requesters based on the recommendations made by ASTHO subject matter experts and their external partners
Develops strong relationships across ASTHO staff at multiple levels of the organization to support and facilitate completion of technical assistance requests.
Maintains a strong understanding of where subject matter expertise can be found within ASTHO???s various teams, projects, and individual staff members
Participates in recurring meetings with ASTHO subject matter experts to determine appropriate support for new requests

Bachelor???s degree in related field; graduate degree preferred
2-3 years of relevant experience
Understanding of public health functions, systems, and infrastructure preferred
Excellent analytic writing and communication skills
Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team environment toward shared objectives.
