FPA is seeking a Chapter Services Manager to provide support, resources, and assistance to our vibrant network of 82 local chapters and state councils. The role is critical to ensuring the chapters, their local volunteer leaders and their staff receive the support they need in all areas of chapter operations. The successful candidate will be a high-energy self-starter with a focus on exceptional customer service. Some travel and a lot of Zoom meetings and phone calls will be required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to chapter executives and volunteer leaders
Provide support to chapter leaders pertaining to FPA services and resources, member recruitment and retention campaigns, and chapter operations
Develop positive relationships with FPA partners, chapter staff and volunteer leaders
Assist in identifying, creating, planning, and developing new chapter programs and services
Assist in planning and execution of the annual Chapter Leaders Conference
Assist in design and implementation of quarterly chapter virtual collaboration efforts
Manage production of monthly chapter leader communications
Coordinate chapter leadership visits
Manage chapter pages on the Association’s website
Ensure collection of annual chapter information (leadership updates, chapter dues updates, etc.)
Assist with annual chapter operations survey, including packaging and distribution of results
Manage FPA Connect (online) communities designated for chapter support and relations
Manage chapter information in AMS
Assist with data collection and reporting to chapters

FPA is located in Denver, Colorado. However, this position is open to the best candidate, whether that person be in Denver or fully remote. Denver-based staff members are currently working remotely due to COVID-19 but we anticipate a gradual safe return to the office in the coming months.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
Microsoft Office and iMIS (or other AMS) database computer applications
Proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
Excellent organizational skills, good judgment, and attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and demonstrated ability to work with volunteer leadership
Ability to balance workload with short- and long-term project deadlines, and work well under pressure
Education and Experience
Three to five years of experience in association/nonprofit operations, membership and/or chapter relations
Bachelor’s or advanced degree desirable
Comfortable with social media and technological platforms (digital native)
