DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT , Office of Philanthropic Partnerships (OPP) , to provide high-level administrative support to the OPP. Will provide complex administrative and logistical support for the director, OPP operations and strategy and two assistant directors. Responsibilities will include calendar and travel management, complex itinerary and meeting preparation, expense processing, documenting donor activity, collaborating with other OPP staff members and dealing with multiple campus constituencies to coordinate and complete OPP projects and tasks; and performing other administrative tasks related to building and maintaining a successful fundraising program to achieve OPP goals.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years' administrative, office, or related experience, preferably providing administrative support in higher education or other nonprofit setting; ability to take initiative and seek out ways to improve processes; ability to assess priorities, follow through on tasks and meet deadlines, and manage a variety of activities in a fast-paced environment; discretion when handling confidential information; excellent interpersonal, customer service, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, time-management, writing, editing, and proofreading skills; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; ability to interact and work cooperatively and diplomatically with a variety of people; and experience and high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Seek a proactive individual who is able to remain flexible and adaptable and consistently exercise independent judgment in organizing and carrying out work and obtaining results.
