The Virtual Learning Manager is responsible for developing and implementing online learning programming that meets the strategic initiatives of the department and organization. Responsibilities include FICPA authored content for online learning (webinars, webcasts, and seminars), working with 3rd party vendors and suppliers, budget preparation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Set and meet revenue goals with virtual registrations that achieve budgetary objectives while driving growth, revenue, and sustainability thru learning curation strategy and execution.
Manage day to day interactions with members, attendees, and discussion leaders.
Fluent in technology software platforms for virtual learning systems.
Other Important Duties:
Oversees, implements, and evaluates all virtual programming, including curation of content, of FICPA events.
Develops and coordinates all virtual learning, manages virtual learning schedule and assist with event simulcasts and replays.
Coordinate advance testing with vendors and speakers and implementing day-of event operations for virtual programming.
Oversee and manage the logistics, administration, setup and production of virtual events.
Oversee technical reviews of all FICPA authored content.
Submission of documentation to DBPR for all FICPA authored content.
Develops and monitors budgets in areas of all virtual learning; monitors and achieves financial goals.
Prepare and monitor weekly registration reports and ensure data is accurate.
Reconcile and approve speaker and honorarium invoices, virtual learning 3rd party vendor invoices (net of fees).
Upload and maintain 3rd party vendor content in database.
Review virtual learning course offerings, assign credit hours, type of credit, acronyms, times, promotional categories.
Coordinate the generating and production of seminar, promotional pieces by mail: maintain promotional database, create content documents, proof drafts, monitor production and ensure mailing deadlines are met.
Develop product descriptions for online CPE Catalog pages.
Set up, activate, maintain, and update product descriptions in the online FICPA CPE Catalog.
Develops, maintains, and serves as the point contact for FICPA virtual learning subject matter experts.
Answers calls for technical troubleshooting during virtual events.
Identify product & services acquisitions and development opportunities with the assistance and direction of FICPA Learning team
Assist the FICPA with other duties needed to help drive the vision of the FICPA, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.
Day trips and/or overnight travel required, including extended work hours based on event schedule.

Experience and Education:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, public relations, or a related field.
Three years of experience in meeting/conference and event planning, membership engagement, or business development functions.
An experienced relationship builder that can foster collaborative relationships with multiple stakeholders to address the needs of all parties.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications/databases (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe).
Intermediate to advanced experience with virtual learning platforms (GoToWebinar, Zoom)
Knowledge of continuing professional education, the CPA profession and accounting firms.
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Demonstrate a comprehensive skill set in in analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes, workflows, and services.
Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, make reasoned decisions, and multi-task as well as in a team environment
Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, who effectively conveys ideas.
Highly effective in time management and project management skill. Ability to organize, prioritize, coordinate, and implement multiple projects
Skilled at proactively and effectively identifying and meeting needs of members, customers, and internal stakeholders.
